Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:
Architect AI-integrated enterprise systems and workflows.
Build agentic / autonomous systems that interact with business platforms and execute governed actions.
Design high-scale distributed and event-driven systems (Kafka or similar).
Work on complex architectures: Event Sourcing, CQRS, DDD, Hexagonal.
Requirements:
Startup experience Must Have Banking / Payments / Lending / Insurance domains Knowledge.
Bangalore and Mumbai | High Budget (Top of Market).
10+ years of experience as an engineer building AI-powered, agentic systems at scale for enterprise use cases.
Experience in Banking / Payments / Lending / Insurance domains.
Strong backend expertise (Java / Kotlin preferred).
Deep understanding of data consistency, concurrency, and transactions.
Exposure to AI/ML integrations + agent-based systems.
Ability to thrive in startup environments with high ownership.
Good to Have:
Ledger / state-replay systems.
Temporal / workflow orchestration.
Rule engines / policy systems.
Cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure), SaaS, multi-tenancy.
Zero-downtime migrations and schema evolution.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience as an Engineering Manager / Tech Lead transitioning to EM.
Strong background in product-based companies or early-stage startups (must-have).
Experience building and scaling backend or full-stack systems.
Ability to drive architecture, execution, and team ownership end-to-end.
Strong focus on delivery, quality, and engineering culture.
Experience managing and mentoring high-performance teams.
