We are looking for a data-driven Product Analyst to join our product team and drive data-backed decision-making across the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will work closely with product managers, engineering, business, and other stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights and help improve product performance, user engagement, and business outcomes. We are looking for someone who is not just focused on reporting numbers but can connect data with product decisions. You should be comfortable asking the right questions, identifying the "why" behind user behavior, and converting insights into measurable product improvements.
Responsibilities:
Analyze product and user data to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Define, track, and monitor key product metrics and KPIs across different stages of the user journey.
Build and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into product performance.
Conduct funnel analysis, cohort analysis, retention analysis, segmentation, and user behavior analysis.
Partner with product managers to define metrics and evaluate the impact of new product features and initiatives.
Design and analyze A/B tests and experiments, providing insights and recommendations based on results.
Perform root-cause analysis to understand changes in product metrics and user behavior.
Translate business and product questions into analytical frameworks and actionable insights.
Work with large datasets using SQL and statistical techniques to identify meaningful patterns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven product strategy and prioritization.
Develop analytical frameworks to measure feature adoption, engagement, conversion, retention, and customer experience.
Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
3-6 years of experience in product analytics, product data analytics, business analytics, or a similar analytical role.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets.
Hands-on experience with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4 CleverTap, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of product metrics, including DAU/MAU, retention, conversion, engagement, churn, activation, and funnel metrics.
Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, hypothesis testing, and basic statistical analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a product-oriented mindset.
Experience building dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar BI platforms.
Ability to convert complex data into clear business insights and recommendations.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Good to Have:
Experience working in a B2C, D2C, SaaS, FinTech, e-commerce, or consumer-tech product environment.
Knowledge of Python or R for analytics and statistical analysis.
Experience with data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar platforms.
Understanding of product experimentation frameworks and event-tracking methodologies.
Experience working closely with product managers and engineering teams.
