Software Engineer

We are seeking a passionate and skilled software engineer to join our dynamic core team in Bengaluru. In this full-time, on-site role, you will play a key part in developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers and UX designers to translate requirements into robust technical implementations, ensuring our products exceed user expectations.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable and efficient server-side applications using Node.js and JavaScript.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine product requirements, providing technical insights and solutions.
Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality and best practices.
Implement comprehensive unit testing strategies to ensure the reliability and robustness of software components.
Monitor and track engineering metrics to optimise the performance and reliability of production systems.
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
4-8 years of experience in software development, with strong proficiency and hands-on experience with Node.js and JavaScript on the server side.
Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms to design efficient software solutions.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with major cloud platforms, preferably AWS, for deploying and managing scalable applications.
Knowledge of Go and Python is a significant advantage.
Experience in conducting code reviews and fostering a collaborative development environment.
Proven ability to implement effective unit testing strategies for software components.
