Senior Frontend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our product engineering team and build high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Web APIs, along with a passion for creating seamless user experiences and writing clean, maintainable code.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and responsive web applications using ReactJS.
Build reusable, modular, and maintainable UI components.
Write clean, efficient, and well-structured JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Integrate frontend applications with backend services using RESTful Web APIs.
Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
Optimise applications for performance, scalability, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve frontend issues across development and production environments.
Conduct code reviews and contribute to frontend coding standards and best practices.
Write and maintain unit/integration tests and ensure high-quality code delivery.
Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, sprint planning, and peer reviews.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in frontend/web application development.
Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS and modern frontend development practices.
Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), including asynchronous programming, promises, closures, and modern language features.
Strong understanding of HTML5 and semantic markup.
Strong knowledge of CSS3 responsive design, layouts, and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience consuming and integrating RESTful Web APIs.
Good understanding of frontend architecture, component design, and state management.
Experience with browser developer tools, debugging, and performance optimisation.
Familiarity with Git and standard software development workflows.
Strong understanding of web application security, accessibility, and performance best practices.
Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience with TypeScript.
Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or similar solutions.
Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum product development environment.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based application deployment.
Understanding of frontend build tools such as Vite or Webpack.
