Academic Counselor

The Academic Counsellor is responsible for guiding students, advising on educational paths, and driving student enrollments. This role involves assessing student needs, conducting counseling sessions, facilitating admissions, and maintaining strong relationships to achieve monthly sales/enrollment targets.
Responsibilities:
Student Counseling: Conduct structured counseling sessions (phone/in-person) to understand learner goals and recommend suitable academic programs.
Admissions and Sales: Convert leads into enrollments, handle objections, and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Guidance and Support: Advise on course selections, university applications, career opportunities, and study plans.
Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for students and parents, maintaining accurate records of interactions.
Reporting: Submit regular sales and progress reports.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a relevant field.
Experience: 0-3 years in education counseling, student admission, or B2C/B2B sales.
Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Traits: Empathetic, target-oriented, and passionate about education.
Tools: Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
