QA Automation Lead Engineer

As a QA Automation Lead Engineer - Network Security and Blockchain/Web3.js, you will define and implement advanced quality assurance and security testing strategies tailored for blockchain applications. This role involves leading a team, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the highest quality and security standards.
Responsibilities:
Leadership: Mentor QA engineers and develop QA and security testing strategies.
Security Assurance: Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, and automate testing for improved coverage.
Collaboration: Align QA activities with project goals and ensure compliance with standards like GDPR and ISO 27001
Continuous Improvement: Analyse QA metrics and stay updated on Blockchain and cybersecurity advancements.
Requirements:
Technical Skills: Expertise in network security, QA methodologies, automation tools (e. g., Selenium, Appium), and scripting languages like Python or Java.
Compliance: Familiarity with OWASP, ISO 27001 and regulatory standards.
Leadership: Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing testing for blockchain/Web3 applications.
Preferred Skills:
Penetration testing tools (e. g., Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP).
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI.
Certifications such as CEH, ISTQB, or blockchain-related credentials are a plus.
Experience:
3+ years in QA, with a focus on network security and blockchain/Web3
Hands-on experience in testing blockchain platforms and distributed applications.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
