We are hiring an HR Business Partner to support cross-functional teams (product, engineering, curriculum, sales, and operations). You'll act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, executing people initiatives that drive performance, retention, and a strong culture in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Strategic partnership: Partner with assigned business leaders to understand product and growth priorities, translate them into workforce plans, and align people strategies to business goals.
Performance management: Drive performance calibration, goal-setting, development plans, and succession planning; coach managers on feedback, performance improvement plans, and high-potential identification.
Employee relations and engagement: Serve as the primary escalation point for employee concerns; lead investigations and conflict resolution; and ensure fair, timely outcomes. Design and implement engagement initiatives and measure impact.
Learning and Development: Partner with L& D to identify skills gaps, design role-specific development programs, manage enablement workshops, and create career path frameworks.
Compensation and rewards: Provide input on compensation benchmarking, job leveling, and promotional decisions; partner with People Ops for offer design, variable pay, and retention plans.
Change management: Support organizational design, restructures, role transitions, and new ways of working; lead people communications and change readiness.
HR operations and compliance: Ensure timely HR process execution (joining, exits, transfers), maintain HRIS data accuracy, and ensure statutory compliance in partnership with People Ops.
People analytics and reporting: Track and report people metrics (attrition, hiring velocity, diversity, engagement) and present insights and recommendations to leaders.
Culture and employer brand: Embed BrightChamps' values in everyday practices; partner with employer brand and marketing on internal and external initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
3+ years in HR (HRBP, People Ops, or Generalist).
Experience in a high-growth technology or EdTech company is preferred.
Strong business acumen and ability to translate strategy into people action.
Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and coaching skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and handling multiple priorities.
