We are looking for a skilled Linux administrator with strong shell scripting expertise to manage, maintain, and automate our Linux-based systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in system administration, troubleshooting, and automation.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability.
Develop and maintain Shell scripts for automation of routine tasks.
Perform system upgrades, patching, and security hardening.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Configure and maintain cron jobs and backup systems.
Work with DevOps tools and support CI/CD pipelines.
Maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
Proficiency in Shell scripting (Bash, Korn).
Experience with system monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, etc. )
Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH).
Familiarity with package management and system services.
Experience with log analysis and troubleshooting.
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
