We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator with hands-on experience in MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, and database management technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining database performance, ensuring high availability, managing backup and recovery processes, and supporting enterprise database environments. Experience with Always On Availability Groups and SSIS/SSRS is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain MS SQL Server databases.
Monitor database health, performance, and security.
Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
Configure and support Always On Availability Groups.
Perform database performance tuning and optimisation.
Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide a resolution.
Work on SSIS packages and SSRS reports.
Support Azure SQL database administration activities.
Ensure database availability, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams for deployments and support.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
Strong hands-on experience with MS SQL Server.
Experience in Azure database environments.
Knowledge of Always On configuration and management.
Experience with SSIS and SSRS.
Good understanding of database security and optimisation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
