Senior Workday Integration Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Workday Studio Integration Engineer with advanced expertise in designing, developing, and supporting high-volume, performance-critical Workday integrations. This role focuses on architecting scalable and secure integration solutions using modern Workday Studio capabilities, including parallel processing, streaming architectures, asynchronous orchestration, and XSLT 3.0 The consultant will serve as a primary technical advisor to clients, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and provide technical leadership to ensure reliable, efficient, and enterprise-grade Workday integration solutions.
Requirements:
8-10+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on expertise in Workday integrations and Workday Studio development.
Proven experience leading end-to-end design, development, and support of complex, high-volume Workday Studio integrations.
Strong hands-on experience with advanced integration patterns, including parallelization, chunking, streaming architectures, asynchronous orchestration, and XSLT 3.0
Experience integrating Workday with external systems using REST and SOAP web services.
Acted as a primary technical point of contact, translating business requirements into scalable integration solutions.
Proven ability to provide technical leadership through design guidance, code reviews, and mentoring of junior consultants.
Experience collaborating with HR, Payroll, Security, and IT teams to resolve integration issues and optimize workflows.
Strong stakeholder communication skills, including technical walkthroughs, RCA documentation, and status reporting.

Advanced expertise in Workday Studio for complex inbound and outbound integrations.
Strong hands-on experience with Workday Core HCM and deep integration exposure.
Extensive experience with Workday Integrations, including: Workday Core Connectors, Custom Studio-based integrations, External REST and SOAP endpoint integrations.
Strong expertise in Workday Reporting to support integration and downstream data needs.
Advanced technical skills in XSLT (including XSLT 3.0), XML, and integration transformations.
Solid understanding of Workday integration security, including ISU access, domain security policies,
authentication models, certificates, and integration-specific security controls.
Ability to design secure, scalable, and maintainable Workday integration architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
Technical Skills required:
Workday Studio (Advanced).
Workday Integrations, including Core Connectors.
Workday Core HCM.
Workday Payroll, Recruiting, and Financial Management (working knowledge).
XSLT (including XSLT 3.0).
