We are looking for a highly driven Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in manual testing for large-scale B2C mobile applications. The ideal candidate should bring strong ownership, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in SQL and API testing (Postman). This role also involves mentoring junior QA team members and gradually transitioning into automation testing within 6-12 months.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end manual testing efforts for B2C mobile applications (Android & iOS).
Own complete QA lifecycle: requirement analysis, test planning, test case creation, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
Manage and mentor a team of 3 junior QA engineers.
Perform extensive functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
Conduct database validation using SQL queries.
Perform API testing using Postman.
Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Ensure applications meet performance, usability, and reliability standards.
Contribute to QA process improvements and best practices.
Gain exposure and contribute to AI-driven QA practices and intelligent testing approaches.
Transition towards automation testing within 6-12 months.
Requirements:
6+ years of experience in Manual Testing.
Minimum 4 years of experience in mobile app testing (Android & iOS).
At least 4 years of experience testing B2C applications with sizable downloads/user base.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL (complex queries, joins, validations).
Strong experience in API testing using Postman.
Experience in defect tracking tools (e. g., Jira or similar).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High sense of ownership and accountability.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Immediate joiner preferred.
Exposure to AI practices in QA (AI-assisted test case generation, predictive defect analysis, intelligent automation).
Understanding of automation tools (Selenium/Appium/Cypress or similar).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
