React Native Developer

As an SDE-2 React Native App Developer, you will take ownership of building and scaling our customer-facing mobile applications. You will work closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality, performant, and user-friendly mobile experiences. This role demands strong technical judgment, end-to-end ownership, and a passion for consumer-grade mobile products.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain React Native applications for Android and iOS.
Own feature development from concept to production with high-quality standards.
Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to define and ship new features.
Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and testable code following best practices.
Optimize app performance, ensuring smooth UI rendering and responsiveness.
Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and third-party SDKs.
Work with backend teams to define APIs and data contracts.
Implement push notifications, analytics, and monitoring tools.
Stay up-to-date with the latest React Native, mobile, and frontend ecosystem trends.
Requirements:
3-6 years of experience in full-cycle mobile app development.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native (v0.70+).
Hands-on experience with state management (Redux or similar), React Navigation, native modules, and third-party libraries.
Experience integrating APIs, push notifications, and analytics frameworks.
Strong product mindset with attention to UX and design details.
Ability to take ownership and deliver features independently.
Good to Have:
Experience building consumer-facing mobile applications.
Knowledge of native Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) development.
Experience with React Native bridges and custom native modules.
Exposure to accessibility, localization, and mobile security best practices.
Prior experience in fintech, insurance, or regulated domains.
