Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain iOS/Android test automation using Java, TestNG, and Appium.
Enhance existing automation scripts, tools, and frameworks.
Execute automated test plans, regression testing, and release validation.
Define testing strategies and scope for user stories and technical tasks.
Estimate testing efforts and communicate timelines to Product and Engineering teams.
Improve automated test coverage and advocate automation-first testing practices.
Promote CI/CD, automation, and QA best practices across teams.
Identify, investigate, report, and track defects through resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
Work independently, adopt new technologies quickly, and communicate testing status to the SQA Manager.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Test automation experience with iOS/Android applications.
Strong hands-on experience with Java, TestNG, Appium, and XCUITest.
Experience with Selenium WebDriver.
Experience with Xcode Instruments.
Hands-on experience with BrowserStack or similar mobile testing platforms.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design, automation frameworks, and scripting.
Experience with MongoDB.
Experience with Git and DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Good understanding of data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL pipelines is a plus.
Experience with AWS, Athena, Redshift Spectrum, PostgreSQL, and SQL is a plus.
API automation experience using Jest, Mocha, REST Assured, or similar tools is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working with Scrum and distributed/remote teams is a plus.
