Android Developer

We are looking for a hands-on Android Developer who can build, enhance, and maintain high-performance Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java/Kotlin, Android architecture, REST APIs, and modern Android development practices. The candidate should have experience building Android applications from scratch and should have published and/or managed at least one application on the Google Play Store.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
Build Android applications from scratch with a strong focus on scalable architecture.
Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Java/Kotlin.
Implement Android architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or similar patterns.
Integrate REST APIs and work with JSON-based data.
Build a responsive and high-performance Android UI.
Work with third-party libraries and APIs such as Retrofit, Dagger, RxJava, Gson/Jackson, etc.
Implement asynchronous operations using Kotlin Coroutines.
Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
Troubleshoot performance issues, memory-related problems, and application crashes.
Follow Android development best practices and contribute to technical design and architecture decisions.
Requirements:
Strongly hands-on with Android development.
Good at problem-solving and writing clean, scalable code.
Comfortable taking ownership of an application/module end-to-end.
Strong in Android architecture and performance optimization.
Experienced in building and managing production-grade Android applications.
Experience: 2-4 Years.
Strong hands-on experience in Android development.
Strong programming skills in Java and/or Kotlin.
Good understanding of OOP, data structures and algorithms, and problem-solving.
Strong knowledge of Android internals and Android UI principles.
Experience with MVVM, MVP, VIPER, or other Android architecture patterns.
Experience with REST APIs and JSON.
Hands-on experience with Kotlin Coroutines.
Experience with Android libraries/frameworks such as Retrofit, Dagger, RxJava, and Gson/Jackson.
Experience with JUnit and Mockito.
Experience building applications from scratch.
At least one Android application published/managed on the Google Play Store.
Good to Have:
Experience working on high-scale consumer applications.
Strong understanding of Android performance optimization and memory management.
Experience with CI/CD and version control systems such as Git.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
