Senior Front - End Web Developer

DexCare is looking for a Senior Front-End Web Developer to join our Implementation Team. This team gets involved early in the customer implementation journey, and you'll be focused on doing full website refreshes and building out new functionality. You should enjoy fast-paced entrepreneurial environments where you can solve difficult problems using current technologies and tools, and collaborate with other team members when brainstorming, designing, and implementing new solutions. You will also help the team succeed by thinking about ways to improve processes, suggesting ways to make the team more effective, and mentoring and modelling engineering best practices.
Responsibilities:
Lead multiple projects end-to-end.
Create high-quality, user-focused experiences with React and Node.
Be actively involved with building and maintaining our new component library.
Participate in an Agile environment using Scrum software development practices, automated unit testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and version control systems (GIT)
Raise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitments.
Availability to diagnose and resolve production-impacting issues and maintain the code as needed.
Be customer-centric in style and approach, with a genuine desire to create and deliver value for customers throughout the project and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Proactively identify risks and develop contingency plans to present to senior leadership for evaluation and risk mitigation.
Adopt and evangelise the DexCare implementation methodology and provide ongoing input to maintain and enhance our methodology.
Support organisation initiatives to enhance and expand our team's knowledge and our documentation.
Participate in on-call rotation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline, with 5+ years of related experience.
5+ years of experience in supporting client process optimisation and change management.
Superior communications skills.
Strong Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, software design) and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency and experience working with JavaScript ES5 or later, CSS, and at least one frontend framework such as React, Angular and/or Vue.
Collaborative mindset, with solid written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity and ability to work with the back-end technologies and databases are a plus but not required.
Preferred Experience:
Expert skills with TypeScript, JavaScript, and SCSS.
Passion for learning and working with new technologies.
Strong understanding of design.
Product development experience building large-scale web applications.
Experience designing and developing highly scalable consumer-facing web applications.
Care deeply about writing high-performance, reusable code for components that will be used across our product.
Passionate about creating an inclusive and accessible user experience.
