Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable AWS infrastructure.
Manage and automate cloud infrastructure using AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
Manage AWS services, including EC2 S3 VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, and related services.
Implement and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
Monitor system performance, availability, security, and resource utilization using AWS monitoring and logging tools.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application-related issues.
Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, access controls, encryption, and secrets management.
Automate operational processes using scripting and DevOps tools.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to streamline deployment and release processes.
Support production deployments, incident management, and root-cause analysis.
Continuously improve infrastructure scalability, reliability, performance, and cost optimization.
Stay updated with emerging AWS services, DevOps practices, and cloud technologies.
Requirements:
3-6 years of experience in DevOps
Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
Good experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, preferably AWS EKS.
Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and troubleshooting.
Experience with Git and Git-based development workflows.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
Strong understanding of AWS IAM, security, networking, VPCs, subnets, security groups, and load balancing.
Experience with scripting using Python, Bash, or Shell.
Understanding of deployment strategies such as blue-green, rolling, and Canary deployments.
Good understanding of cloud security, availability, scalability, and cost optimization.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced product engineering environment.
Good to Have:
AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, or SysOps Administrator.
Experience with AWS ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, and SQS/SNS.
Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
Experience with Helm and Kubernetes deployment management.
Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or other observability platforms.
Experience with Ansible or configuration management tools.
Exposure to AI/GenAI/LLM-based applications and cloud infrastructure.
Experience using AI-assisted development/DevOps tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
