We are seeking a creative and user-focused UX Designer to join our team. In this role, you will design intuitive, engaging, and accessible digital experiences across web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of user-centred design principles and brings some hands-on software development experience, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams and practical, implementation-aware design decisions.
Responsibilities:
Conduct user research, interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis to identify user needs.
Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
Translate business requirements and user insights into intuitive design solutions.
Develop and maintain design systems, UI components, and interaction patterns.
Validate designs through usability testing and incorporate feedback into iterative improvements.
Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and follow UX best practices.
Work with developers during implementation to ensure design quality and consistency.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2-5 years of experience in UX design for web and/or mobile applications.
Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design process and impactful design solutions.
Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Solid understanding of UX research methods, information architecture, interaction design, and usability principles.
Some hands-on software development experience or working knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or modern frameworks.
Ability to communicate design rationale effectively and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing enterprise or SaaS products.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Basic understanding of responsive design and front-end implementation constraints.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
Experience working with design systems and component libraries.
