Role Description The Hiring Video Editor Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Gwalior. This role involves designing and delivering practical training sessions on video editing, production workflows, and post-production techniques to aspiring professionals and corporate learners. The trainer will create training materials, demo projects, and assignments, while mentoring participants to build industry-ready portfolios. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting classroom and lab sessions, reviewing and providing feedback on learner projects, coordinating with internal teams to align training with hiring needs, and staying updated on current video and motion design trends. The role also includes collaborating with corporate partners to customize training content and support assessment and selection processes for video editing and production roles.
Qualifications
Strong skills in video editing and video production, with the ability to translate real-world workflows into training content.
Proficiency in motion graphics and graphics, including the use of industry-standard tools for visual design and animation.
Experience with video color grading and post-production techniques to ensure high-quality, professional output.
Prior experience as a trainer, mentor, or team lead in media, design, or related fields, with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
Familiarity with popular editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a structured approach to curriculum design and learner assessment.
Ability to work on-site in Gwalior and collaborate with cross-functional teams in training and hiring functions.
Relevant degree or certification in media studies, film, animation, design, or a related discipline is preferred.
