Role Description The Quality Control Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Uttar Pradesh, India. The role involves planning and executing quality control procedures for mining and metal products, including inspecting materials, monitoring production processes, and documenting test results. The Quality Control Engineer will analyze data to identify trends, investigate nonconformities, and collaborate with production and maintenance teams to implement corrective and preventive actions. This position includes maintaining compliance with internal quality standards and relevant industry regulations, preparing reports for management, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
Qualifications
Strong Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills, with experience in inspection, testing, and verification of products and processes.
Proficiency in Quality Management practices, including implementation of quality standards, documentation, and process improvement.
Well-developed Analytical Skills for interpreting data, identifying root causes, and recommending effective solutions.
Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and preparing clear reports and documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Mining, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements in mining and metals.
Ability to work on-site in an industrial environment, with attention to safety protocols and operational discipline.
Prior experience in a manufacturing, mining, or metals processing facility is an advantage.
