CTARS is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Operations to lead and scale our operations across healthcare 3D designing, medical 3D printing, virtual surgical planning, patient-specific implants and digital dental solutions.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Founder and senior leadership to translate CTARS’ strategic vision into efficient, compliant and commercially sustainable operations across India and international markets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the day-to-day operational management of CTARS
• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, SOPs and performance standards
• Coordinate clinical planning, medical designing, manufacturing, quality, administration, finance, sales and customer-support functions
• Establish efficient workflows from patient-data receipt and design approval through production, quality inspection and delivery
• Ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, on schedule and within budget
• Monitor productivity, turnaround times, costs, resource utilization and operational KPIs
• Build and manage high-performing multidisciplinary teams
• Oversee recruitment, training, performance evaluation and workforce planning
• Support the establishment and expansion of CTARS facilities in India and international markets
• Ensure compliance with applicable medical-device, quality and data-protection requirements
• Work closely with hospitals, surgeons, dentists, laboratories, technology partners, suppliers and regulatory consultants
• Manage vendors, procurement, inventory, equipment maintenance and supply-chain operations
• Prepare operational budgets, forecasts, management reports and expansion plans
• Identify operational risks, resolve bottlenecks and lead continuous-improvement initiatives
• Support the implementation of ERP, CRM, project-management and digital workflow systems
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of patient, clinical and company information
CANDIDATE PROFILE
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Healthcare Management, Business Administration or a related discipline
• MBA or equivalent management qualification is preferred
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years in a senior operations or leadership position
• Experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, 3D printing, advanced manufacturing, dental laboratories or hospital operations is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of operational planning, quality systems, budgeting, procurement and team management
• Familiarity with ISO 13485, medical-device regulations, risk management and validated manufacturing processes will be an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to scale operations across multiple locations or markets
• Strong analytical, decision-making, negotiation and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with clinicians, engineers, designers, technicians and business teams
• Willingness to travel within India and internationally, as required
