Power Platform Reporting & BI Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Power Platform Reporting and BI Analyst with strong experience in DevCoE, PMO, Governance, Delivery Excellence, Project Coordination, or Reporting functionsThe ideal candidate will drive governance, quality, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple development teams while leveraging Power Platform and BI capabilities. The role requires a strong blend of technical, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, along with experience in engineering metrics, process optimisation, reporting, dashboard development, and AI-enabled software delivery.
The core responsibilities for the job include the following:
Establish Development Standards and Governance:
Define, implement, and monitor development standards, policies, frameworks, and governance processes.
Ensure compliance with SDLC, security, architecture, documentation, and deployment standards.
Conduct periodic audits and reviews to assess adherence to organisational guidelines.
Drive Quality and Delivery Excellence:
Monitor project health, delivery performance, quality metrics, and team productivity.
Track risks, issues, dependencies, action items, and escalation management.
Establish and monitor KPIs related to delivery quality, defect trends, sprint performance, and release readiness.
Enable Technology Innovation and AI Adoption:
Promote adoption of AI-assisted development practices and productivity tools.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to engineering processes.
Drive initiatives focused on automation, developer productivity, and engineering excellence.
Reporting and Executive Dashboards:
Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards and governance reports.
Analyse engineering and delivery metrics to provide actionable insights.
Present periodic status reports, risks, trends, and recommendations to leadership.
Continuous Improvement and Stakeholder Management:
Identify process improvement opportunities and drive implementation across teams.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
Facilitate governance reviews, steering meetings, and operational excellence initiatives.
Requirements:
Experience: 6 years.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience in DevCoE, PMO, governance, delivery excellence, project coordination, or reporting functions.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Dashboards, Advanced Formulas, and Lookups).
Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience creating management dashboards and executive reports.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repositories, Pipelines, and Dashboards).
Knowledge of engineering metrics, delivery governance, and quality management.
Exposure to AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Agentforce, or similar platforms.
Experience with Power BI, Qlik, Oracle, ODS, or database governance frameworks.
Understanding of CI/CD, code review practices, release management, and DevOps governance.
Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Power BI, Oracle Certification, PMP / CAPM, PMI-ACP / Scrum Master Certification, Azure Fundamentals / Azure DevOps, and ITIL Foundation.
Experience in one of the below two technical streams is a must:
BI Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), Qlik etc.
Oracle Technologies, ODS, Data Architecture, or Database Governance.
Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Agentforce, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms will be an added advantage.
