Role Description The RTL Design Engineer will be responsible for architecting, coding, and optimizing RTL for complex digital designs, ensuring functional correctness and performance targets. Day-to-day tasks include writing synthesizable RTL, collaborating on micro-architecture, running simulations, performing linting and static checks, and supporting timing closure in coordination with verification and physical design teams. The engineer will participate in design reviews, document specifications, and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate blocks into larger SoC or IP solutions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring close collaboration with local engineering teams and active participation in lab and design activities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering skills with experience in digital design, RTL coding (Verilog/SystemVerilog), and VLSI methodologies.
Candidates should possess relevant Electrical Engineering skills, including understanding of digital circuits, timing concepts, clocking, and power/performance trade-offs.
Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tool skills, including experience with simulation, synthesis, lint, static timing analysis, and other EDA tools.
Candidates should possess Product Design-related skills such as translating specifications into micro-architectures, documenting design intent, and supporting integration and validation.
Candidates with Mechanical Engineering exposure to multidisciplinary hardware systems and packaging will have an added advantage.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present technical information clearly.
