Role Description The Manager role at Prime Biofuels is a full-time, on-site position based in Kapurthala. The Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, including production planning, resource allocation, and workflow optimization for biomass pellet manufacturing. This role involves monitoring quality standards, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and coordinating maintenance activities to minimize downtime. The Manager will lead and develop the local team, set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Additional responsibilities include tracking key performance indicators, preparing operational reports, collaborating with senior leadership on process enhancements, and supporting customer and vendor relationships as needed.
Qualifications
Experience in operations or plant management, ideally in manufacturing, renewable energy, or related industrial environments.
Strong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to motivate, coach, and develop staff in an on-site setting.
Knowledge of production planning, process optimization, and quality control methods to maintain consistent output and product standards.
Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety regulations and best practices in industrial operations.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Proficiency in basic data analysis, reporting, and use of common office and operations software tools.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, industrial management, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience also considered.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying risks, resolving issues, and improving processes.
Commitment to sustainability and interest in biofuels or renewable energy solutions.
Ability to work on-site in Kapurthala and adapt to a dynamic, evolving operational environment.
