Job Title: Senior Scientist – Assay Biology

Core Purpose Of The Role
Assay Biologist (Sr Scientist) to support in vitro research activities that are critical to Bicara project.
Key Responsibilities
In Vitro Anti-Tumor Efficacy Evaluation
Conduct studies to assess anti-tumor activity across various tumor cell lines and indications.
Utilize techniques such as:
ELISA and cytokine analysis (Luminex, ELISA, CBA platforms)
Flow cytometry
Cell proliferation and inhibition assays
2D/3D co-culture models
Compliance & Data Integrity
Ensure adherence to organizational safety, quality, and EHSS standards.
Follow ALCOA+ principles and maintain accurate electronic lab notebook (ELN) records.
Laboratory Operations
Support routine lab activities including mammalian cell culture.
Education
Specific requirements for this role:
Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in:
Biology / Biotechnology
Immunology / Cell Biology
Cancer Biology or related life sciences field
Experience
Scientist: 2–4 years of relevant industry experience
Hands-on experience (preferred) in:
Cell-based assays (proliferation, cytotoxicity)
Mammalian cell culture
Immunoassays (ELISA, Luminex, CBA)
Flow cytometry
Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., PLA, SoftMax Pro, GraphPad Prism, Excel)
Core Competencies
Strong interpersonal, analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under tight timelines in a collaborative environment.
