Role Description The Logistics Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kakori. This position is responsible for coordinating day-to-day logistics operations, including managing inventory levels, overseeing warehouse activities, and ensuring timely movement of goods and supplies. The role involves monitoring stock, preparing and maintaining records, tracking shipments, and liaising with internal teams and external partners to support smooth service delivery. The Logistics Officer will also help implement and refine logistics procedures, support compliance with safety and operational standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of supply and distribution processes.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Inventory Control and Warehouse Operations to maintain accurate stock records and efficient storage practices.
Demonstrated ability in Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management to coordinate inbound and outbound movements and optimize resource use.
Solid Administration skills for documentation, reporting, and maintaining organized logistics records.
Relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain within a service or facilities environment.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and inventory or warehouse management software.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
