Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Commvault Backup & Azure Administrator with 10-12 years of hands-on experience in enterprise backup, recovery, and cloud infrastructure management. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Commvault administration, Azure Backup, Azure Storage, Disaster Recovery, and Data Protection solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage enterprise backup and recovery solutions using Commvault.
Configure and manage Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery (ASR), Azure Storage Accounts, and Recovery Services Vaults.
Administer Commvault CommServe, Media Agents, Storage Policies, and Deduplication technologies.
Perform backup, restore, migration, retention management, and disaster recovery activities.
Monitor backup jobs and troubleshoot backup failures within SLA timelines.
Implement and maintain backup solutions for physical servers, virtual machines, databases, and cloud workloads.
Manage capacity planning, storage optimization, and backup infrastructure health checks.
Execute DR drills and ensure business continuity compliance.
Work closely with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, and Application teams.
Prepare operational reports, RCA documents, and technical documentation.
Required Skills
Strong experience in Commvault Backup & Recovery Administration.
Expertise in Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery (ASR), Azure Storage, Virtual Machines, Networking, and Monitoring.
Experience with Windows and Linux server backups.
Good understanding of VMware and Hyper-V backup environments.
Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, Exchange, and file system backups.
Experience in Disaster Recovery planning and execution.
Familiarity with Azure RBAC, Key Vault, Log Analytics, and Monitoring.
PowerShell scripting knowledge for automation.
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
