About the role
Mitsu is hiring Clinical and Counseling Psychologists across our clinics in Powai, Andheri West and Khar West, Mumbai.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team alongside psychologists, psychiatrists and care coordinators to provide high-quality, structured mental healthcare.
The role involves much more than conducting therapy sessions. We are looking for clinicians who think deeply about case formulation and treatment planning, value supervision and collaborative care, and are interested in helping us build a more continuous and outcome-focused model of outpatient mental healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical / Counseling Psychologist at Mitsu, you will:
Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions, primarily in-person, with virtual sessions where appropriate
Develop case formulations, treatment goals and structured treatment plans
Track clinical progress and adapt treatment based on patient needs and outcomes
Collaborate with psychiatrists and other members of the clinical team for integrated care
Participate actively in supervision, case discussions and clinical reviews
Conduct psychological assessments and prepare clinical reports, where relevant to your training
Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and follow Mitsu's clinical protocols
Contribute to psychoeducation, workshops, webinars and other clinical initiatives
Eligibility:
For Clinical Psychologist - M.Phil in Clinical Psychology with a valid RCI Registration + 2–6 years of experience post M.Phil (clinic experience preferred)
For Counseling Psychologist - M.A./M.Sc in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from a recognized institution + 3–6 years of experience post MA/MSc (clinic experience preferred)
Skills & Attributes
We are particularly interested in psychologists who demonstrate:
Strong clinical assessment, case conceptualisation and formulation skills
Good understanding of DSM-5 and ICD-11 diagnostic frameworks
Formal training and experience in one or more evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based approaches, DBT, EFT or other recognised modalities
Ability to tailor therapeutic approaches to the needs of the individual rather than work rigidly within a single modality
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective therapeutic relationships
Openness to supervision, feedback and collaborative clinical decision-making
Interest in measurement-based care and using outcomes to inform treatment
Comfort with technology and interest in how digital tools can improve continuity of mental healthcare
A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership in a growing clinical organisation
