Role Description The UI UX Designer Intern will support the design of intuitive, engaging experiences across PPStack’s web and mobile learning products. This full-time remote role involves collaborating with product, engineering, and content teams to translate requirements into wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes. Day-to-day tasks include refining user flows, conducting basic user research, organizing feedback, and iterating designs based on usability and accessibility principles. The intern will help maintain design systems, ensure visual consistency across platforms, and contribute creative ideas to improve learner and client experiences. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in EdTech while building a strong design portfolio.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in User Experience (UX), including user flows, information architecture, and basic user research.
Candidates should possess skills in User Interface Design and Visual Design, focusing on layout, typography, color, and design systems.
Candidates should possess skills in creating Mockups and interactive prototypes using common design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
Candidates should possess foundational Front-End Development skills (e.g., HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers.
Additional beneficial qualifications include strong communication and collaboration skills, attention to detail, familiarity with accessibility best practices, and a portfolio showcasing relevant UI/UX projects.
Enrollment in or completion of a degree or certification in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
