Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer with strong expertise in ClickHouse, SQL, data analytics, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable analytical solutions, building data models and dashboards, and translating business requirements into actionable insights.
The candidate should have hands-on experience working with large datasets, optimizing analytical queries, and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders. Experience with Databricks is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable analytics solutions using ClickHouse and SQL.
Write complex and optimized SQL queries for large-scale data analysis and reporting.
Develop and maintain analytical data models to support business reporting and decision-making.
Perform data analysis, identify trends and patterns, and provide actionable business insights.
Build, enhance, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and analytical solutions.
Optimize ClickHouse queries, data structures, and analytical workloads for performance.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy of reports and insights.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, BI developers, and other technical teams.
Troubleshoot data and reporting issues and provide timely resolutions.
Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable data and analytics architectures.
Leverage Databricks for data processing, transformation, and analytics where required.
Document data models, analytical processes, dashboards, and technical solutions.
Required Skills
Primary Skills
Strong hands-on experience with ClickHouse.
Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, subqueries, aggregations, and query optimization.
Strong understanding of data analytics and analytical data modeling.
Hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
Experience developing dashboards, reports, KPIs, and business metrics.
Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT concepts.
Ability to analyze large datasets and convert business questions into data-driven insights.
Secondary Skills
Experience with Databricks.
Familiarity with distributed data processing and modern cloud data platforms.
Understanding of data lake/lakehouse architectures.
Exposure to Python or other scripting languages is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, BI, or a related role.
Experience working with large-scale datasets and high-performance analytical databases.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
