Role Summary
vEngage AI is looking for a technically strong Power BI Developer with 5+ years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, Data Modelling, Analytics, and Reporting.
The candidate will be responsible for developing reliable and high-performing Power BI dashboards, reports, data models, and analytical solutions to support business and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations
Design and maintain optimized data models using appropriate relationships, fact tables, dimension tables, and star schema
Develop advanced DAX measures and calculations
Perform data extraction, transformation, and cleansing using Power Query
Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and data analysis
Build KPI, management, operational, and analytical reports
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and validation across reports
Optimize Power BI reports, DAX, and data models for performance
Publish and manage reports through Power BI Service
Manage datasets, scheduled refreshes, workspaces, and Row-Level Security (RLS)
Understand business requirements and convert them into effective BI and reporting solutions
Maintain documentation for reports, data models, KPIs, and reporting logic
Essential Skills & Competencies
5+ years of strong hands-on experience with Power BI
Strong and extensive knowledge of Business Intelligence and Reporting
Advanced Power BI Data Visualization skills
Strong Data Modelling knowledge
Strong expertise in DAX
Strong knowledge of Power Query
Strong SQL skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience in developing KPI and management dashboards
Knowledge of Power BI Service, data refresh, workspaces, and RLS
Strong understanding of data validation and data accuracy
Ability to independently understand business requirements and deliver BI solutions
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
Experience & Education
5+ years of relevant experience in Power BI / Business Intelligence / Data Analytics / Reporting
Proven experience in developing end-to-end Power BI reporting solutions
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
Experience in Healthcare, HealthTech, SaaS, AI, or technology companies is preferred
