About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer - Full Stack with strong expertise in React and Java to join our engineering team.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling high-quality products across the frontend and backend. The role requires someone who can take ownership of features end-to-end, make sound technical decisions, and work closely with product, design, QA, and other engineering teams.
This is a hands-on engineering role with significant ownership and an opportunity to solve
challenging problems at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React, Java, and Spring Boot.
Own features end-to-end - from understanding requirements and technical design to
development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Build reusable, maintainable, and high-performance frontend components using React.
Design and develop robust backend services, REST APIs, and business logic using Java/Spring
Boot.
Work with relational databases such as MySQL and write efficient queries and data models.
Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues across the application stack.
Write clean, testable, maintainable code and contribute to engineering best practices.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
Contribute to architectural and technical decisions as the product and engineering ecosystem
evolves.
Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and drive root-cause analysis and
preventive solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to raising the overall engineering quality of the team.
Required Skills & Experience:
4–6 years of professional software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
Strong hands-on experience with React.js and modern frontend development.
Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Strong experience building and consuming REST APIs.
Good understanding of MySQL or other relational databases, including query optimization.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and software design
principles.
Experience with Git and standard software development practices.
Understanding of application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms is preferred.
Experience with Docker, CI/CD, monitoring, or distributed systems is a plus.
