Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Design Project Manager role based in Ahmedabad. The Interior Design Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project delivery, from concept development and space planning through detailed design, construction documentation, and final execution. Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, vendors, and contractors; managing project schedules, budgets, and resources; and ensuring that design intent, quality standards, and brand guidelines are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves reviewing and approving construction drawings, supervising installation of furniture and finishes, and resolving design or site issues in a timely manner. The Interior Design Project Manager will also support product sourcing through Arcedior’s platform, prepare presentations, and contribute to design innovation for hospitality, commercial, and residential projects.
Qualifications
Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional, aesthetic concepts.
Proficiency in Project Management, including timeline planning, resource coordination, and budget monitoring for multiple concurrent projects.
Ability to develop and review detailed Construction Drawings and technical documentation in coordination with design and site teams.
Knowledge of Furniture selection, layout, and specification, including materials, finishes, and ergonomics.
Relevant experience in interior projects for hospitality, commercial, or high-end residential spaces.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and MS Office tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, contractors, and suppliers on-site.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering projects on time and to a high standard.
