Role Description The Project Manager Civil is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing civil engineering and construction projects from initiation to completion. This role includes planning and managing project scope, timelines, and budgets, coordinating with design, procurement, contractors, and internal stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The Project Manager Civil will monitor site activities, manage risks, address technical and operational issues, and ensure safe and efficient execution of infrastructure works. The position also involves preparing project reports, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement in project delivery and quality.
Qualifications
Civil Engineering and Infrastructure skills, with the ability to oversee structural and site development activities.
Construction Management skills for supervising on-site work, coordinating contractors, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
Budgeting skills to prepare, manage, and track project costs and financial performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are an advantage.
Experience managing mid to large-scale civil or infrastructure projects, preferably in an urban environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in relevant engineering and project management tools or software, and familiarity with local building regulations and safety standards.
