Role Description The Senior DevOps Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Mohali district. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure to support modern web, mobile, and data-driven applications. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud and on-premises environments, monitoring system performance, and optimizing deployment processes. The Senior DevOps Engineer will collaborate closely with software development teams to streamline releases, automate workflows, and ensure high availability and resilience of services. The role also involves troubleshooting production issues, improving observability, implementing best practices for security and compliance, and mentoring team members on DevOps methodologies and tools.
Qualifications
Strong System Administration and Linux skills, with experience managing production environments and troubleshooting performance and reliability issues.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices for provisioning, configuring, and managing cloud or hybrid infrastructure.
Proficiency in Continuous Integration and related CI/CD pipeline tools to automate builds, tests, and deployments across multiple environments.
Solid Software Development fundamentals, including scripting or programming for automation, integration, and tooling around DevOps workflows.
Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK) is highly beneficial.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and security best practices for infrastructure, networks, and applications.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in a senior or lead DevOps role is preferred.
