Job Description
Mandatory :
Battery Management Systems experience end-to-end hardware development needs to bridge the gap between low-level circuit design and high-level system integration
Experience in rigorous safety, performance, and reliability standards required for EV .
Skill Set :
Schematic design (Altium)
multi-layer PCB design support
Design knowledge of AFE, high-voltage & Cell monitoring, cell balancing, and isolation circuits.
Experience in Unit Testing, System Validation
EMI/EMC & Other compliance coordination
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in the design and development of Battery Management Systems (BMS) for lithium-ion battery packs.
In-depth knowledge of Circuit Design, Analysis and Simulation with a strong background in analog, digital or power electronics.
Proficiency in Simulation, schematic capture, and PCB layout tools.
Strong hold on lab equipment’s, such BMS simulator, HV power supply, DSO, DMM, and electronic load
as Strong understanding of battery characteristics, chemistry, charging algorithms, and safety considerations.
Experience with battery cell balancing techniques and algorithms.
Knowledge of relevant industry safety standards, and regulations related to battery technology and electric vehicles.
Familiarity with embedded systems and firmware development for BMS applications is a plus.
Ability to analyze and interpret battery performance data using relevant software tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a cross-functional team environment.
Skills:
Strong understanding of electrical, electronics concepts as related to BMS systems.
Understanding of electrochemical principles related to battery systems.
Proficiency in battery simulation and analysis tools, such as pSpice, LTSPICE, PSIM, MATLAB or equivalent
Experience with EDA tools, such as OrCAD, Cadence, Altium, PADS or equivalent
Knowledge of safety and failure analysis techniques for battery systems, such as fault tree analysis (FTA) and failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA)
Knowledge of ISO26262, and ISO21434
Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles for electronics and battery systems
Familiarity in Automotive industry testing tools, such as dSpace, VT Studio, NI LabView
Familiarity in programming languages, such as C, C++, or Python, AUTOSAR for embedded systems and data analysis is preferred
