Company Description HDFC Bank is India’s largest private sector bank, serving over 92 million customers with a wide range of financial products and services.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Corporate Treasury Dealer - SME desk ,role based in Ahmedabad. The Corporate Dealer will manage day-to-day dealing operations for clients, including executing foreign exchange, money market, and other treasury products in line with bank policies and regulatory guidelines and increasing the FX revenue from the segment as per plan. The role involves monitoring market trends, preparing rate quotations, and providing timely pricing and risk management to corporate customers. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal stakeholders, ensuring accurate documentation and transaction booking, and supporting liquidity and position management within prescribed limits. The Corporate Dealer will also contribute to customer acquisition and retention by delivering responsive service, maintaining compliance standards, and supporting product and process improvements.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of financial markets, treasury products, and corporate banking operations, including FX and money market instruments.
Proficiency in quantitative and analytical skills for pricing, risk assessment, and position monitoring.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with corporate clients and internal teams.
Attention to detail and adherence to regulatory, compliance, and internal control requirements.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-accuracy dealing environment and make timely decisions.
Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, , Management, or related field from Tier 1 and 2 colleges; professional certifications (e.g.CFA and FRM, ) are an advantage.
Previous experience in bank dealing rooms, corporate treasury, or financial markets roles is preferred.
Comfort with banking and trading systems, spreadsheets, and relevant digital tools.
