About the Role
We are looking for a highly creative and experienced Freelance Graphic Designer to work with us on a retainer basis. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for aesthetics, premium design sensibilities, and hands-on expertise in creating high-quality packaging, product artwork, branding, and digital creatives. This role requires someone who is not only proficient in traditional design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, but also has strong practical experience working with AI-powered creative tools to develop innovative and visually compelling concepts.
Experience working with premium, luxury, beauty, wellness, lifestyle, or consumer brands will be highly preferred. The designer should understand how to create sophisticated, aspirational, and visually refined designs that align with a premium brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
Packaging & Artwork Design: Create visually compelling packaging and product artwork that aligns with brand guidelines.
Illustrator Expertise: Develop high-quality mockups and print-ready designs.
AI-Powered Creativity: Utilize AI tools to generate, enhance, and develop creative artwork concepts, visuals, and design directions.
Social Media Content: Design eye-catching graphics for social media posts, ads, and promotional campaigns.
Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs reflect the brand’s visual identity, positioning, and messaging.
Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with design trends, AI advancements, and industry best practices.
Requirements
Proven experience working as a Freelance Graphic Designer, preferably with brands on a project-based or retainer basis.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Extensive hands-on experience in packaging design, product artwork, and print production.
Strong practical expertise in AI-powered creative tools and AI prompting for generating and developing high-quality visuals and artwork concepts.
Experience using AI design tools such as MidJourney, DALL·E, Adobe Firefly, Photoshop AI features, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of premium and luxury design aesthetics, including typography, colour theory, composition, detailing, and visual storytelling.
Experience creating designs for premium, luxury, beauty, wellness, lifestyle, or consumer brands will be highly preferred.
Ability to create sophisticated and engaging social media creatives, digital campaigns, advertisements, and marketing materials.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high design standards across all deliverables.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple requirements, and deliver projects within agreed timelines.
A strong portfolio showcasing packaging designs, premium/luxury brand work, AI-generated or AI-assisted artwork, branding projects, and social media creatives.
Nice-to-Have
Experience working with luxury, premium, beauty, wellness, lifestyle, or FMCG brands.
Advanced expertise in AI-generated visuals, AI prompting, and emerging creative technologies.
Experience with motion graphics or basic animation.
Knowledge of 3D mockup tools and packaging visualization.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple creative requirements on a retainer basis.
