Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Equity Dealer role based in Bengaluru. The Equity Dealer will execute client orders in equities and related products, ensuring accurate and timely trade placement in line with regulatory and internal guidelines. Responsibilities include monitoring market movements, advising clients on order execution and basic trading strategies, and managing positions and risk within defined limits. The role involves coordinating with the research and advisory teams to relay market insights, providing prompt trade confirmations, and maintaining high standards of client service. The Equity Dealer will also handle routine trade-related queries, update client records where required, and adhere to compliance and operational procedures.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Stock Market dynamics, including live market operations and order execution processes.
Candidates should possess practical skills in Trading across cash and derivatives segments, with an understanding of trading platforms and risk controls.
Candidates should possess solid understanding of Equities, including listed securities, indices, and equity-based investment products.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Finance and Investments, including portfolio concepts, risk–return, and basic fundamental and technical drivers.
Relevant certifications such as NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives), or other SEBI-mandated dealer certifications are highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced dealing environment.
Effective communication skills, client-centric approach, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
