About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Team: AI, Data & Innovation Labs
Experience: 3+ years hands-on with GenAI tools and platforms
What this role is
We are building AI capability — not as a centre of excellence that publishes frameworks, but as a team that sits with business users, finds the friction, and ships something that removes it. Often within days.
You will own use cases end to end. Discovery with the business, designing the workflow, building it with whatever tool fits, testing it with real users, and getting it into daily use. Then finding the next one.
This is a builder role. You will not be handed a spec.
What you'll do
Embed with business teams (Ops, Distribution, Underwriting, Customer Service, Finance) to identify where GenAI meaningfully changes how work gets done
Design and build working solutions using LLM platforms, automation tools, and agentic workflows — prototype to production
Write and iterate prompts, chain them, evaluate outputs, and build guardrails that hold up in a regulated environment
Train and enable business users so they can operate what you build without you
Track adoption and impact, and be honest about what isn't working
Run internal enablement — demos, workshops, office hours — so AI fluency spreads beyond our team
Tools you should already be fluent in
LLM platforms: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini — including projects, custom GPTs, artifacts, file handling, and knowledge grounding
Workflow and agent orchestration: n8n, Zapier, Make, or equivalent
Agentic frameworks and multi-step automation — you understand how agents plan, call tools, and fail
RAG concepts in practice: chunking, retrieval quality, why a bot returns the wrong answer and how to fix it
Prompt engineering as a working discipline, not a buzzword
Who we're looking for
3+ years of hands-on GenAI and AgenticAI work — building things people actually use, not evaluating vendors
You can go from a business conversation to a working prototype without anyone unblocking you
You know AI deeply: what these models can do, where they break, what is hype and what is real
You can hold your own with a business head and with an engineer
You are relentlessly curious and you experiment on your own time because you can't help it
We are not looking for
Traditional Software engineers
Consultants who produce strategy decks and roadmaps
Anyone who needs a detailed brief before starting
Nice to have
BFSI or insurance exposure
Awareness of AI governance and data privacy in regulated environments (IRDAI, DPDP)
A portfolio: workflows, agents, GPTs, automations — show us what you've built
Work arrangement
No
