Role Description The Senior Architect will lead end-to-end design and execution of architectural projects, from concept development and detailed drawings to coordination with consultants, contractors, and clients. Responsibilities include preparing design proposals, overseeing architectural design documentation, ensuring compliance with building codes and standards, and guiding project teams through key phases of planning and construction. The role involves working closely with project managers to monitor timelines, costs, and quality, resolving design and integration issues, and providing technical guidance to junior team members. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, requiring regular collaboration across disciplines and active participation in client meetings and site visits.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to lead complex design projects.
Experience in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and risk management.
Knowledge of Integration between architectural design and related disciplines (structural, MEP, interior) to ensure cohesive project delivery.
Understanding of Software Development principles and relevant architectural software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms) to support design and documentation.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
Proficiency in building codes, local regulations, and sustainable design practices, especially in the Chennai and broader Indian context.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
