Duration: 6 months
The Role:
We are looking for a fintech platform testing Intern who knows markets, someone who understands how equity trading, stock broking, and wealth management work, and wants to put that knowledge to use testing and shaping a real fintech platform.
This role is different from a typical tech intern position: we're not primarily looking for a coder. We're looking for someone with genuine finance knowledge who can look at our product the way a trader, broker, or wealth manager would and catch the things that only someone who understands markets would notice. You'll test the platform end-to-end, but your edge is domain knowledge, not code.
You'll work closely with our product and engineering teams, acting as the voice of the market inside the building and flagging where the product doesn't match how broking, equity, or wealth work in practice, and helping us fix it before it reaches users.
What You'll Do:
1. Test our operations on CRM and wealth management platform.
2. Validate that features are not just bug-free, but financially correct the calculations, workflows, and terminology match how equity markets, brokers, and wealth managers operate.
3. Write clear, reproducible bug reports and issue write-ups that engineers can act on quickly, explaining not just what broke but why it matters from a market/investor standpoint.
4. Build structured test cases and checklists for money-critical flows and help identify edge cases a non-finance tester might
5. Work with the product team to translate market/regulatory nuance into clear specs engineers can build against.
6. As you get comfortable with the platform, help shape product decisions, contribute to feature specs, and provide informed input on how new features should behave from a market perspective.
What We're Looking For:
1. Working knowledge of equity markets, stock broking, and/or wealth management through a finance degree, coursework, certifications.
2. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
3. A sharp eye for detail and the instinct to question whether something is right, not just whether it works.
4. Patience and rigor: comfortable testing the same flow repeatedly and digging into edge cases most people would skip.
5. Some coding ability in at least one modern language/stack (e.g. JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, React, or similar) is a plus.
6. Strong written and verbal communication, you'll need to explain finance concepts to engineers and technical issues back in plain finance terms.
7. Curiosity about fintech and genuine interest in how markets, broking, and wealth platforms are built and run.
