Role Overview
We're looking for an AI Automation Intern to eliminate manual bottlenecks across our hospital onboarding process, add intelligent automation layers to existing product features, and build an end-to-end insurance claims automation pipeline. This is a hands-on, build-and-ship role — you'll work directly with the founding team.
Key Responsibilities1. Onboarding Blocker Automation
Map out current manual steps and recurring blockers in hospital onboarding (data migration, configuration, staff setup, go-live checks)
Design and build automation scripts/agents to remove or shrink these bottlenecks, supporting our sub-24-hour onboarding target
Build monitoring/alerting so blockers are flagged before they delay a hospital's go-live
2. AI Layer for Existing Features
Work with the product team to identify features that would benefit from an AI layer (e.g., smarter defaults, anomaly detection, auto-suggestions, summarization)
Prototype and integrate AI capabilities using our existing stack (Gemini 2.5 Flash via Vertex AI)
Evaluate outputs for accuracy and safety before handing off for production integration
3. Cross-Application Automation
Automate drafting of business correspondence (emails, follow-ups, clarifications) using LLM-generated templates
Build automated login and navigation flows for external web portals/applications (RPA/browser automation) to reduce manual, repetitive work
Automate retrieval and logging of status/data from third-party portals into a centralized, queryable format
Handle variability across different applications (logins, layouts, session/OTP flows) gracefully, with fallbacks for manual review
Required Skills
Strong Python or Node.js programming fundamentals
Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic) and prompt engineering
Exposure to browser automation/RPA tools (Playwright, Selenium, Puppeteer, or similar)
Basic understanding of REST APIs and working with databases (MongoDB preferred)
Comfortable working with ambiguous, real-world processes and turning them into scripts/systems
Good to Have
Experience with AWS or GCP (we run on both)
Prior exposure to workflow/process automation in any domain
Experience with OCR/document processing pipelines
Familiarity with WhatsApp Business API or chatbot frameworks
What You'll Gain
Direct ownership of automation systems used across 170+ live hospitals
Mentorship from the founding team on both technical architecture and product thinking
Exposure to the full stack: AI/LLM integration, RPA, backend systems, and healthcare domain workflows
Potential for a full-time offer based on performance
Duration & Compensation
Stipend: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 4-5 months
