About Praper Media
Praper Media is seeking a creative and strategic Podcast-Content Strategist to work closely with our podcast editing and content teams. The role involves planning podcast content, identifying powerful moments, developing engaging storylines, improving episode flow, and ensuring every piece of content resonates with its target audience. A background or prior experience in the FinTech/Financial Services industry will be a strong plus, especially for candidates who understand topics such as fintech, banking, investments, startups, financial markets, digital payments, or emerging financial technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Podcast & Content Strategy: Identify high-energy moments, key insights, controversial opinions, and valuable takeaways to create engaging 90–120 second podcast trailers and short-form content.
Storytelling & Content Flow: Analyze podcast conversations and recommend rearrangement or refinement of questions, topics, and segments to create a stronger narrative and better audience experience.
Hook & Retention Strategy: Develop strong opening hooks, curiosity gaps, storytelling angles, and retention points that capture attention within the first few seconds.
Visual & Audio Direction: Identify relevant B-rolls, sound effects, graphics, visual references, and verified statistics/data points that can enhance storytelling and make content more impactful.
Content Repurposing: Identify opportunities to transform long-form podcast episodes into shorts, reels, trailers, social media clips, carousels, and other platform-specific content.
Trend Analysis: Stay updated with the latest podcast, YouTube, Instagram, storytelling, and short-form content trends and incorporate relevant trends into content strategies.
Research & Fact Checking: Conduct research to support podcast narratives with relevant and verified statistics, examples, industry insights, and current trends.
Collaboration: Work closely with podcast editors, motion designers and creative teams to ensure the strategic vision is effectively translated into the final content.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1–4 years of experience in content strategy, content creation, podcast production, digital media, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of podcasts, YouTube content, short-form video, and social media storytelling.
Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to identify strong hooks, narratives, and viral-worthy moments.
Strong research and analytical skills with attention to accuracy and fact-checking.
Understanding of audience Behaviour, retention, trends, and content performance.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative, and deadline-driven environment.
Knowledge about multiple niches like FinTech/Finance industry , Geopolitics , Science and other general topics.
Candidates who have worked with FinTech, BFSI, financial creators, business podcasts, investment content, or finance-focused YouTube channels will be preferred.
