Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Tele Sales Officer role based in Kochi. The Tele Sales Officer will engage with existing and potential customers over phone calls to explain banking products, respond to inquiries, and promote suitable financial solutions. Daily tasks include making outbound calls, handling inbound queries, providing accurate product information, and updating customer records in the system. The role involves meeting sales and service targets, following compliance and quality guidelines, and maintaining high standards of customer experience. The Tele Sales Officer will collaborate with branch teams to support lead generation, follow up on prospects, and contribute to overall business growth.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain banking products clearly and build rapport over phone calls.
Sales and customer service capabilities, including persuasion, objection handling, and a customer-focused approach in a high-volume calling environment.
Basic computer proficiency and comfort working with CRM or banking systems to record interactions and update customer information accurately.
Ability to work towards defined targets, manage time effectively, and stay organized in a fast-paced, metrics-driven setting.
Prior experience in tele sales, contact center operations, or retail banking is preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum educational qualification: completion of higher secondary education; a bachelor’s degree in any discipline is an advantage.
Understanding of banking products (such as accounts, cards, loans, and digital banking) will be beneficial.
Commitment to ethical conduct, data confidentiality, and adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
