Role Description The Remote Monitoring Nurse is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves tracking patients’ clinical parameters using remote monitoring systems, reviewing alerts, and responding according to established clinical protocols. The nurse will communicate with patients and caregivers to clarify symptoms, provide education, reinforce medication adherence, and escalate concerns to physicians or senior clinicians when needed. Daily tasks include documenting patient interactions, maintaining accurate electronic records, coordinating follow-ups, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely interventions. The Remote Monitoring Nurse will also participate in quality improvement activities, support on-boarding of patients to monitoring programs, and adhere to organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Valid nursing qualification (e.g., M.Sc. B.Sc. Nursing) and current registration with the appropriate nursing council.
Clinical nursing expertise -, including patient assessment, vital sign interpretation, and basic triage skills.
Familiarity with remote monitoring tools, electronic health records, and standard clinical documentation practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams.
Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple patient cases, alerts, and follow-up tasks efficiently.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to recognize early signs of clinical deterioration and act according to protocols.
Ability to work in an on-site, technology-enabled environment and adapt to new workflows or digital platforms.
Prior experience in telehealth, critical care, cardiology, or chronic disease management is an advantage.
Commitment to ethical practice, patient privacy, data security, and adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.
