About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our websites, mobile applications, and software products. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify, document, and track bugs throughout the development cycle.
Key Responsibilities
Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing.
Test web and mobile applications across different devices, browsers, and operating systems.
Identify, document, and track bugs using appropriate bug-tracking tools.
Work closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.
Perform API testing and validate application responses where required.
Conduct regression testing after bug fixes and new feature releases.
Verify that applications meet functional and business requirements.
Maintain proper QA documentation, test reports, and defect reports.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective.
Ensure software releases meet defined quality standards before deployment.
Required Skills
3+ years of experience in Software QA / Testing.
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Good knowledge of manual testing methodologies.
Experience writing detailed test cases and test scenarios.
Knowledge of Jira, Bugzilla, or similar bug-tracking tools.
Basic understanding of API testing tools such as Postman.
Knowledge of SQL/database testing is an advantage.
Understanding of web and mobile application testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.
Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Experience with CI/CD and version-control tools such as Git is a plus.
