Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, Lead the design and development of Adobe Experience Manager solutions (Sites, Assets, DAM). Manages the offshore AEM developer team and ensures the technical quality of deliverables submitted to the Content PM.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Define AEM architecture (components, templates, content models, DAM) aligned with the Lead Architect
Lead and mentor offshore AEM developers
Develop and oversee AEM integrations with AEP, AJO, Workfront and Firefly
Conduct code reviews and enforce OSGi/Sling best practices
Manage content migrations and AEM Cloud Service version upgrades
Produce technical documentation submitted to the Content PM
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must Have Skills: AEM Sites: HTL/Sightly component development, Sling Models, OSGi Services & Configurations, Workflow Steps
AEM Assets & DAM: Asset Compute Service (processing microservices), Smart Tags (AI), Dynamic Media, Connected Assets
AEM as a Cloud Service: RDE, Cloud Manager pipelines, Oak Repository, Feature Flags, Content Transfer Tool
Headless development: Content Fragments API, GraphQL Persisted Queries, AEM Headless SDK
SPA Editor: React or Angular integration with the AEM Page Editor
AEM, AEP integration: Web SDK (Alloy), Launch (Tags) for behavioral data collection
AEM, AJO integration: Experience Fragments as email/push content in AJO
AEM, Workfront integration: Enhanced Connector, cross-product approval workflows
Performance & security: Dispatcher optimization, CDN rules, Content Security Policy (CSP)
AEM unit testing: AEM Mocks (wcm.io), Sling Mocks, JUnit 5
Adobe Certified Expert – Adobe Experience Manager Sites Developer (mandatory)
Adobe Certified Master – Adobe Experience Manager Sites Architect (recommended)
Adobe Certified Expert – Adobe Experience Manager Assets Developer (appreciated)
Additional Information:
The candidate should have 8+ years AEM development, hands-on AEM as a Cloud Service experience, GraphQL/Headless APIs, proven offshore team management
This position is based at our BDC11 - SEZ location.
A 15 years full time education is required.
