Role Description
We are looking for a Contract Software Engineer for an on-site contractual opportunity based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.
The role is suitable for fresh graduates and experienced software professionals interested in working across software development, backend development, web applications, APIs, databases, automation, enterprise systems, and digital transformation.
The Contract Software Engineer will work closely with IT, data, operations, production, finance, supply chain, sales, and other business teams to develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve software applications and digital solutions based on project and business requirements.
Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related discipline.
Freshers and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
Candidates with 0–5 years of experience in software development, application development, backend development, web development, IT, or related technology roles can apply.
Candidates from IT services, SaaS, technology, consulting, e-commerce, finance, telecom, manufacturing, logistics, or other industries are welcome.
Basic to good knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, C++, PHP, or similar technologies.
Understanding of data structures, programming concepts, object-oriented programming, databases, APIs, and software-development fundamentals.
Familiarity with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, or similar databases will be an advantage.
Exposure to Spring Boot, React, Angular, Node.js, Django, Flask, .NET, or similar frameworks will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Basic understanding of REST APIs, web services, Git, and version-control systems.
Exposure to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, CI/CD, or DevOps tools will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
Strong logical, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within defined timelines.
Good communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities.
Ability to coordinate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Willingness to work in an on-site environment.
Internship, freelance work, contract projects, GitHub projects, hackathons, certifications, or academic software projects will be considered.
