Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Pune City. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished videos, including trimming, sequencing, adding transitions, and aligning audio to create cohesive stories. Day-to-day tasks include applying color correction and grading, creating or integrating motion graphics, and collaborating with designers and producers to match client briefs and brand guidelines. The role also involves managing media assets, maintaining organized project files, and optimizing content for different platforms and formats. The Video Editor will participate in concept discussions, provide creative input, and ensure deliverables are completed within timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with the ability to handle end-to-end post-production workflows.
Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with a solid understanding of color correction, visual tone, and consistency across footage.
Experience creating Motion Graphics and working with Graphics to enhance videos, titles, lower thirds, and visual effects.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and graphics software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop/Illustrator or equivalents).
Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and adapt editing style for different clients and platforms.
Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills; openness to feedback and iterative revisions.
Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing work is required.
