We are looking for detail-oriented and tech-savvy interns to join our team for a comprehensive book cataloguing initiative within our interactive dashboard-based Integrated Library Management System (ILMS). This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in digital curation, metadata management, and educational technology.
Positions Available & Compensation
Full-Time Intern: 9 hours (Contractual - Duration:1 year) - 15,000 per month
Part-Time Intern: 6 hours (Contractual - Duration:1 Year) - 12,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
Book & Resource Cataloguing: Systematic Data Entry and learning resources into the Sheets and Dashboard.
Metadata Management: Ensure all entries include accurate metadata (titles, authors, ISBNs, publication dates, subject tags, reading levels, and curriculum alignment).
Taxonomy Maintenance: Help refine and maintain the standardized categorization and tagging structure to ensure seamless user navigation.
QC and Data Cleanup: Identify and resolve duplicate entries, missing details, or misclassified records within existing digital archives
Reporting: Daily Reporting of work as per tasks assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Recent graduate in Library Science, Education, Arts, English, or a related field.
Tech-Familiarity: Comfortable navigating digital platforms, databases, and Office Applications.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills with high accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Communication: Good written communication skills for managing descriptions and tags clearly.
Independent & Collaborative: Ability to work autonomously on routine tasks while collaborating with the product and content teams to improve system usability.
Physical Processing of Books: Technical and physical processing of books, organizing, shifting and coordination with Racking Team.
